Overview and Learning Objectives

This comprehensive multidisciplinary clinical neurophysiology course, scheduled for September 26–27, 2025, offers specialized educational tracks in EEG & Epilepsy, Advances in Intraoperative Neuromonitoring (IONM), and Nerve Conduction Velocity (NCV) & Neuromuscular Disorders. Led by renowned experts, the EEG & Epilepsy track explores seizure classification, EEG interpretation, and advanced epilepsy treatments, including surgical resection and neuromodulation. The IONM track emphasizes innovative intraoperative techniques, neuroimaging, mapping strategies, and hands-on cadaveric training for tumor-related procedures. Meanwhile, the NCV & Neuromuscular Disorders track delivers essential insights into nerve conduction studies, electromyography (EMG), neuromuscular disease identification, and the latest diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.

Each track will involve sessions that are designed to integrate didactic lectures, interactive case studies, and expert discussions to enhance clinical knowledge and practical skills across these critical domains of clinical neurophysiology.

CME Accreditation and Designation 

In support of improving patient care, the University of Pittsburgh is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Physician (CME)
